Position Overview This entry-level position reports to the Senior Data Analytics Engineer and will work cross-functionally across Data teams with an emphasis on supporting the Analytics team and their workflows.
In this role, you will help build and maintain the semantic layer of our data pipeline, ensuring clean, consistent, and reusable data models. Day-to-day activities include:
Developing and testing data models
Editing LookML
Managing a data catalog
Automating data analysis workflowsWorking closely with stakeholders to support their data needs
This is a fully remote position within the United States, with occasional needs to be in our NYC office.
Compensation Base Salary Range: $80,000 – $100,000 per year. This role includes a competitive compensation package consisting of base salary, performance-based bonus, and equity.
What you’ll learn
Understand attention metrics and media quality measurement
Build and maintain modular, scalable data models using tools like dbt and Looker
Collaborate effectively across teams to meet stakeholder needs
Core Responsibilities
Maintain a well-organized data catalog with accurate metadata
Build, test, and maintain SQL-based data models in Redshift
Create and manage a clean, reliable reporting and semantic layer in Looker using LookML
Support reporting needs across various teams
Monitor data adoption and usability
What you’ll bring
SQL Proficiency: Strong ability to write, optimize, and debug SQL queries
Experience with BI/dashboarding platforms (e.g. Looker, Tableau)
Data modeling experience in a data warehouse environment
Attention to detail for data quality and testing
Collaboration skills with cross-functional teams
Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative or technical field or relevant coding bootcamp experience
