Senior Construction Site-Project Manager – Data Center This position supports Rehlko’s Data Center business by providing Construction Project Management services for the installation, testing, and commissioning of Rehlko supplied equipment for data center customers. The role ensures compliance with regulations, Rehlko standards, and customer-defined goals, and participates in developing the project scope and content.
Responsibilities
Manage commissioning and startup activities on-site with guidance.
Contribute to development of CX documents with input from relevant teams.
Serve as the primary point of contact for contractors and distributors, escalating challenges to senior team members.
Lead and coordinate project activities, tasks, and resources under supervision.
Provide technical guidance on generator products.
Collaborate with contractors and distributors to optimize generator solutions.
Coordinate third‑party vendor activities efficiently.
Assist in resolving project‑related issues and challenges.
Prepare and deliver project status reports to stakeholders.
Maintain comprehensive project documentation.
Requirements
Associate’s Degree or industry apprenticeship (e.g., electrician) required.
Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent 3‑5 years of experience.
Three to five years of experience in project management or site commissioning of similar technical complexity.
Field service experience in testing and installation of generators.
Electrical, generator, or engine experience desired.
Leadership skills with demonstrated ability to work cohesively across teams, make sound decisions, and drive action cross‑functionally.
People skills required to lead and motivate professionals in a matrix organization who are not direct reports.
Strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills.
Travel Requirements 40‑50% travel in the United States and Canada; minimal international travel possible.
Work Mode This is a remote position based in the continental United States.
