What you'll do:
Design and develop high-performance tables and efficient pipelines to evolve the analytics layer in ClickHouse Lead the transition of all analytics workloads to the new core, including migrating legacy data from PostgreSQL Expand the analytics layer by integrating new data sources, events, and third-party tools Own incident response — troubleshooting issues, repairing data, and correcting historical records to maintain a "single source of truth" Enhance internal Python libraries and streamline workflows within our infrastructure (Airflow, TeamCity, Jupyter, Zeppelin) Translate high-level analyst expectations into formalized technical requirements and actionable solution designs Partner with Analytics, DevOps, and Development teams to deliver seamless cross-functional results What you need to succeed:
Strong proficiency in Python, Bash, and SQL with a deep understanding of database architecture Hands-on experience with ClickHouse and a clear understanding of its inner workings and performance tuning Commitment to YAGNI, KISS, and DRY principles — you measure twice and cut once Ability to build idempotent, fault-tolerant systems backed by robust monitoring and technical metrics Rigorous self-testing habits and the ability to define your own validation criteria Comfort jumping into an existing codebase to refine, improve, and integrate it into new solutions Ability to navigate incomplete problem statements and proactively clarify requirements with stakeholders Nice to have:
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL Familiarity with Airflow, Jupyter, or Zeppelin What we offer:
