Position Summary We are seeking a Data Analyst to join our team supporting a key program with the Department of Veterans Affairs. In this role the Functional Area Data Analyst will be responsible for analyzing and improving the efficiency and effectiveness of the assigned functional area within the team. You will be involved in data analysis, process evaluation, and recommending solutions to enhance performance and achieve project goals.
Responsibilities
Analyze current processes and identify areas for improvement
Develop and implement strategies to enhance operational efficiency
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and provide solutions
Prepare detailed reports and presentations for leadership
Monitor performance metrics and recommend adjustments as needed
Stay updated with industry trends and best practices
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Information systems, or a related field
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a similar role
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Proficient in data analysis and related software tools
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently in a remote environment
Working Conditions Standard Business hours are Monday through Friday. Occasional extended or weekend hours may be required based on operational needs. Must have reliable internet service that allows for effective telecommuting.
