About the Company
Our client is a growing technology solutions provider specializing in wireless connectivity, mobility solutions, and IoT-enabled devices. They partner with leading carriers and OEMs to deliver innovative, scalable solutions for enterprise customers.
Position Summary
This role sits at the intersection of technical expertise and commercial execution. The Wireless Solutions Architect will own and scale the organization’s WWAN, router, and specialty device portfolio while enabling sales teams, supporting complex deals, and driving customer success.
This is not a pure sales role and not a back-office architect—you are the technical quarterback driving deals forward.
Key Responsibilities
Wireless & WWAN Portfolio Ownership
Own and evolve WWAN, wireless router, and specialty device strategy
Serve as SME for:
Cellular routers & gateways (Cradlepoint, Peplink, Sierra, etc.)
WWAN connectivity (5G/LTE, carrier integrations)
Rugged/mobile computing devices and laptops
Wireless scanning and specialty field devices
Define repeatable, scalable solution bundles
Identify emerging technologies and market opportunities
Pre-Sales Solutions Architecture & Sales Enablement
Partner with AEs, AMs, and carrier teams on:
Discovery calls
Technical validation
Solution design
Deal strategy
Translate customer challenges into architectures and proposals
Serve as escalation point for complex technical questions
Enable sales teams through:
Training sessions
Playbooks
Demo environments
Competitive positioning
Post-Sales Support & Expansion
Support Tier 1–2 escalations for WWAN/router deployments
Ensure successful implementation and customer satisfaction
Identify upsell opportunities including:
Managed services
Monitoring solutions
Support contracts
System expansion and refresh cycles
Collaborate with operations and support teams
Partner & Carrier Engagement
Build relationships with:
Telecom carriers and MVNOs
OEMs and hardware vendors
Technology partners
Represent the company at trade shows, partner summits, and events
Thought Leadership & Content Creation
Act as the public technical voice for wireless and mobility solutions
Create and deliver:
Webinars
Technical videos and demos
Sales enablement content
Partner with marketing to educate the market and drive demand
Translate real-world deployments into compelling use cases
Qualifications
5+ years in technical sales, solutions architecture, or wireless networking
Hands-on experience with:
WWAN / cellular networking
Wireless routers, gateways, antennas, and peripherals
Mobility or IoT deployments
Laptops, scanners, and specialty devices
Experience supporting complex B2B sales cycles
Strong ability to engage with:
Sales teams
Customers
Carrier and OEM partners
