Sales & Service Coordinator
Power Flame is a subsidiary of Astec a global, environmentally focused infrastructure and manufacturing company of asphalt road building and aggregate processing including industrial heating. The Sales & Service Coordinator is responsible for supporting the Sales department and Service department by providing required packets for customers and orders, scheduling service trips and managing training program obligations. Deliverables & Responsibilities Sales Support: Compile and deliver As-Built folders to the plant Create and send burner submittals to customers Maintain burner manual and literature inventory Cross Train as Receptionist for coverage during PTO. Service Support: Track training rosters and online registration/fees Print certificates, name tags, and training materials as needed Coordinate meals for training classes Assist with quoting service trips/setting up service customers Assist with Technical Support calls & requests To be successful in this role, your experience and competencies are: Associate degree from an accredited college or technical school preferred but not required with sufficient experience. 2+ years of experience in Sales/Customer Relations Strong interpersonal and communication skills to gain acceptance of a product, service or idea. Ability to effectively speak publicly and make presentations before groups. Strong problem solving and analytical skills as well as math proficiency. Ability to work well independently and as a team player while meeting the needs of internal and external customers. Strong multitasking capability and organizational skills in a fast-paced environment Time management skills are critical for scheduling, meeting customer needs, and meeting deadlines. Desire to be proactive and create a positive experience for others. Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Teams, SharePoint, electronic filing Ability to schedule travel plans and manage expenses pertaining to travel through Concur Travel and accounting department and travel policy requirements.
