We are seeking an experienced Senior Services Manager, experienced in Service Support and Advocacy for a nationwide organisation across Ireland. About the Role: 1 year Fixed Term Contract Located in National Office in Dublin City Centre. 40 hour per week contract Salary for this post will be €60,000 - €70,000 per annum. Key Duties in the Job: Service Support & Data Management Lead coordination of information and support services across region. Oversee data systems and translate strategic priorities into clear, actionable service plans. Monitor service performance against targets and provide timely, accurate reporting. Identify and address risks, challenges, and opportunities in service delivery. Stakeholder Engagement & Communication Support the CEO in managing senior stakeholder relationships and strategic partnerships. Represent the organisation at national forums, policy consultations, and cross sector collaborations and act as spokesperson where required. Ensure clear, consistent internal and external communications. Safeguarding Oversight Provide strategic leadership on safeguarding across the organisation. Ensure full compliance with legislation, policy, and best practice in partnership with the Safeguarding Lead. Embed a culture of vigilance and early risk identification. Use safeguarding insights to inform advocacy, policy, and learning. Leadership & Governance Contribute as a senior leader to organisational strategy and decisions. Deputise for the Regional Services Manager as required. Promote a culture of accountability, inclusion, and continuous improvement. Survivor Engagement & Projects Lead survivor engagement and project delivery. Ensure services are trauma-informed, rights-based, and policy-aligned. Build organisational capacity to meet survivor needs. Embed lived experience in policy, advocacy, and communications. Oversee project evaluation and reporting. Research, Policy and Reform Lead research and policy functions to identify systemic issues. Drive evidence-based advocacy and policy development. Oversee production of policy submissions, research outputs, and reform recommendations. Support Board committees in setting policy priorities. Organisational Development and Quality Assurance Chair the Service Management Group and drive service improvement. Oversee policy development in line with quality and legal standards. Ensure strong integration between support and frontline services. Use data to inform planning and performance with senior leadership. Person Specification Essential Experience Postgraduate Qualification in Management or another relevant field. Minimum of 5 years demonstrated senior leadership experience in advocacy, health, social care, or related sectors. Experience managing multidisciplinary teams and complex organisational functions. Experience working with vulnerable adults, older people, or survivors of institutional abuse is highly desirable. Knowledge Strong understanding of the Irish health, social care, and safeguarding landscape. Knowledge of advocacy principles, trauma informed practice, and rights based approaches. Understanding of policy development, legislative processes, and systemic reform. Familiarity with quality standards for advocacy and safeguarding practice. Strong ICT literacy, including CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce). Competencies Strategic thinking and ability to translate vision into action. Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship building skills. Ability to influence at senior levels across government, statutory agencies, and civil society. Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data for decision making. High emotional intelligence, reflective capacity, and resilience.
