Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - CNA

Must be able to start full-shift orientation on a Tuesday or Thursday. Part-time day or night shifts.

Requirements:

• NYS Nursing Assistant Certification (Required)
• BLS (AHA/RQI certifications)
• One (1) year of previous experience in long-term care

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) as outlined in their care plans, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of the resident environment, addressing call lights and alarms promptly.
• Support residents' nutritional needs, including meal delivery and feeding assistance.
• Assist with rehabilitative needs, such as ambulation and proper body alignment.
• Report any changes in residents' physical, emotional, or psychosocial status to the Charge Nurse in a timely manner.

Compliance / Notes:

Occupational exposure to bloodborne pathogens is reasonably anticipated.
