Salary: $100,000 - 130,000 per year
Requirements: Minimum of 5 years of consulting experience, managing multiple clients, ideally in the SMB sector. At least 5 years working in a senior engineer capacity. Over 5 years of proficient experience with various Microsoft technologies, including Office365, Exchange, Azure, Entra, Intune, etc. More than 5 years of advanced proficiency in virtualization technologies, preferably VMWare. 5+ years of expertise in network design and optimization, involving enterprise-grade switches, firewalls, and routers. Extensive experience with one or more cloud platforms (Azure, Google Cloud, AWS). Proven track record in BNCs core focus areas, such as security breach prevention, cloud migrations, and disaster recovery design. Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, Azure Admin Certifications, MCP, MCSE, CompTIA Sec+, A+, and Net+ are advantageous. Familiarity with platforms/software like MacOS, SQL, Google Workspace, RMM tools, and ConnectWise is a plus. Leadership capabilities to mentor and guide a team of system engineers. Strong communication skills to effectively engage with both technical and non-technical audiences. Exceptional problem-solving abilities in resolving complex technical challenges. Adaptability to new technologies and shifting business requirements. Excellent organizational skills to manage tasks and priorities effectively. Ability to operate independently while adhering to established guidelines, policies, and procedures. Willingness to support occasional after-hours and weekend tasks.
Responsibilities: Manage projects by meticulously organizing timelines and deliverables while maintaining clear communication with clients. Consult with clients to pinpoint areas for improvement in their systems and infrastructure, including hardware and software upgrades. Act as the primary IT resource for clients in the Dallas/Ft. Worth region. Provide expert advice and foster a partnership-focused relationship with clients. Support servers, networks, desktops, and laptops, both on-site and remotely. Design, implement, and oversee new installations and system migrations. Efficiently resolve any system or network issues to maintain operational continuity. Continuously seek ways to enhance clients systems and infrastructure. Lead by example by mentoring junior team members and helping them develop their skills. Assist in onboarding new engineers to the BNC Texas team.
