Rate Range: $90-$100/Hr
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Mobile Tablet Engineer to collaborate with the deployment, configuration, and support of Windows-based tablets in a highly secure, networked environment.
This role requires deep expertise in Microsoft Intune and SCCM, Windows 10/11 installation and configuration, PowerShell scripting, and advanced troubleshooting in a hybrid Active Directory/Microsoft Entra environment. The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of relevant experience and a strong commitment to process improvement and operational innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
Deploy and configure Windows 11 tablets using Autopilot, SCCM, and Intune
Package and deploy applications and policies via Intune and SCCM
Automate tasks using PowerShell for device provisioning and health checks
Manage certificates, VPN, Wi-Fi, and cellular APN configurations
Troubleshoot OS, network, and application issues in a secure environment
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and vendors to resolve issues
Continuously improve provisioning workflows and support processes
Required Qualifications:
10+ years of experience in IT system administration or endpoint management
Expertise in Microsoft Intune and SCCM
Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11 deployment and configuration
Proficiency in PowerShell scripting
Experience with VPN, Wi-Fi, and cellular network configurations
Familiarity with certificate management and secure environments
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Key Skills:
Microsoft Intune & SCCM administration
Windows Autopilot, MDT, and OS imaging
PowerShell scripting and automation
VPN (e.g., NetMotion), Wi-Fi, and APN configuration
Certificate management and PKI
Advanced Windows troubleshooting
Secure, firewalled network operations
Application packaging and deployment
Preferred Attributes:
Microsoft certifications (e.g., Modern Desktop Administrator, Azure Administrator)
Experience in public sector or regulated environments
Process improvement and automation mindset
Familiarity with Active Directory/Azure AD and Office 365
Development experience (C, Python, etc)
Experience mentoring or leading technical projects.
