Must-Have Skills
Experience in the chemical industry and its processes
Understanding of ASME, ASTM, Welding, and Pressure Vessel Standards
Front End and Design Engineering (FEED)
Finalization of feasibility and conceptual engineering
Process Hazard Analysis (PHA)
Knowledge of:
PFDs
P&IDs
Equipment sizing & data sheets
Instrument data sheets
Good-to-Have Skills
Knowledge of CAD tools such as:
Solid Edge
Teamcenter
Roles & Responsibilities
Deliver Front End Engineering and Detail Design deliverables for capital projects as required by project scope.
Study and assess existing systems.
Participate in PHAs and project reviews.
Review and approve process safety studies.
Participate in the MOC process for projects.
Coordinate with engineering leads.
Participate in contractor job walks and equipment start-ups.
Prepare and review project execution plans
