Introduction
We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a Data Engineer specializing in MS Fabric. This is a remote position with a duration of 6 months. The successful candidate will work on handling system connectivity and cloud architecture in Fabric, Synapse, and external tables, focusing on data massaging and migration.
Required Skills & Qualifications
6 - 8 years of experience in working with Azure data management technologies like Synapse, ADF, ADLS Gen2, MS Fabric, etc.
Strong understanding of ETL and ELT processes.
Strong experience in SQL technologies with at least 4 years of experience.
Experience in developing and maintaining data pipelines, ETL processes, and data models using Fabric tools like Data Factory, notebooks (PySpark), and SQL analytics.
Prior work experience at the client or in the client's industry.
Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
Experience with ingesting data from diverse sources, including SAP systems, and integrating it into Fabric-based data warehouses and data lakehouses.
Ensuring data integrity, quality, and compliance with data governance policies within the Fabric environment.
Optimizing data processing workflows, storage, and query performance for enhanced efficiency and cost-effectiveness within Fabric.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
Handle system connectivity and cloud architecture in Fabric, Synapse, and external tables.
Manage data movement and migration within the Fabric environment.
Develop and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes using Fabric tools.
