The OSR is responsible for prospecting and closing to achieve sales revenue goals by developing and implementing sound selling strategies that ensure revenue growth./liliPrepares for and executes cold calls to influence potential commercial customers (small and/or less complex accounts) into setting appointments with the purpose of presenting and selling/liliConducts pre-sales activities to gain understanding of the customers needs and prepare for the meeting. This includes gathering appropriate marketing material and pricing plans, identifying customer needs and interests to determine the best sales strategy and identifying potential objections with plans to address during the sales meeting./liliEffectively uses sales productivity software tools (i.e. Prospect and Customer Database, Proposal Program, Pricing Tools, etc.)/liliFacilitates prospect follow up meeting(s)/liliMatches services with customer needs by demonstrating knowledge of customers, pricing and competition; effectively communicates pricing and service strategies; proactively engages other Waste Management business opportunities, referring internally as appropriate./liliUses in depth industry and company knowledge and makes recommendations on equipment optimization and leasing options./liliNegotiates and closes sales by effectively communicating alternatives and positions to reach mutually beneficial sales agreements/liliPrepares and delivers complex sales proposals/liliConducts post-sale administrative work to ensure product/service implementation is successful/liliTravel requirement: 100%/li/ulpOther Knowledge, Skills or Abilities Required/pulliAbility to set goals/liliProficient in time management/liliProficient in computer skills/liliHigh impact communication/liliPlanning and organization/li/ulpPay Benefits/pulliWeekly pay!/liliMultiple Health Plans/liliDental/liliVision/liliWe Pay for your $30,000 Life Insurance!/liliRetirement Plan with a company match up to 5%/liliSafety and Retention Incentives!/liliPaid Time Off/liliAccess to employee discount through LifeMart!/li/ulpQualifications/pulliHigh school diploma or equivalent/liliAt least 3 years of sales experience required./li/ulpEcowaste Solutions offers a competitive base salary, opportunity to earn incentive pay, and a comprehensive employee benefits package.
