Location: Cincinnati, OH
Rate: 75-80/hr on W2.
This position is responsible for the design, implementation, testing, and documentation of complex data and carrier network solutions. The role requires a thorough understanding of ACI, TCP/IP, routing, switching, subnetting, routing protocols, VPN, wireless, firewall technologies, and a general understanding of VOIP. Network automation with programming and scripting are additional skills that are highly valued. The successful candidate will be a self-starter who excels with little supervision and works with small teams using Agile engineering principles. Specific knowledge around ACI (Application Centric Infrastructure) is a plus.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Network Engineering - 12+ years
Palo Alto or Network Security - 5-10 years of experience
Cisco Products - 10+ years of experience
CCNA or CCNP or CCDP
Prior work experience in the client's industry
Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
Agile Certification: Kanban Management Professional, Scrum Master
Experience with network hardware/software solutions like Cisco routers, switches, wireless controllers, phones, ASAs, DNA, ACI, and OTV
Experience with Python, shell scripts, RESTful APIs, EEM Scripting, JSON/XML, Ansible automation
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
Creation of network infrastructure designs, configurations, standards, and documentation to effectively deliver network solutions
Define and document technical requirements for new capabilities, work with key suppliers to solution, build and certify ensuring compliance with all functional, operational, and business objectives
Collaborate closely with peer IT organizations helping to influence, guide, and direct technical outcomes
