Responsibilities:
• Serve as the point of contact for clients and communicate with them by phone and email to respond to questions and requests • Prepare sales presentations and support materials for prospective customers, such as suitable event space, dining and catering services, hotel bookings, and access to relevant facilities • Manage schedules, file important documents, and communicate relevant information from the sales team to stakeholders and hotel departments • Prospect a list of company and referral leads generated through research, networking, social media, special events • Increase revenues by upselling and providing additional amenities and upgrades to customers to ensure they are entirely satisfied • Creating contracts, Banquet Event Orders, and correspondence through emails. • Using Google Calendar to stay organized.
Qualifications:
• This position requires previous work experience in a hospitality role • Demonstrated exceptional social, verbal, and negotiating abilities • Displays a proven track record of sales success • Good organization and time management skills • Must possess a high school diploma or GED and a bachelor’s degree in business or a similar major is desired
