Introduction
4 Corner Resources is hiring for an
IT Applications Supervisor
to lead
Tier 2 application support
and oversee a team of analysts responsible for maintaining and optimizing critical business systems. This role partners closely with vendors, internal IT teams, and business stakeholders to ensure application stability, timely upgrades, and continuous process improvement.
The ideal candidate brings a strong blend of
technical application support experience, team leadership, vendor management, and process improvement expertise . This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a hands-on leadership role and can balance day-to-day support operations with long-term system optimization.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of application support analysts, including performance management and annual reviews
Provide Tier 2 application support and troubleshoot complex hardware and software issues
Oversee the coordination and execution of software and firmware upgrades with external vendors
Partner with vendors to resolve system issues and implement long-term solutions
Communicate clearly and professionally with end users, internal IT teams, vendors, and department leadership
Provide accurate project status updates and participate in cross-functional meetings
Ensure adherence to IT policies, change management procedures, and organizational standards
Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency, reliability, and the overall user experience
Manage multiple initiatives simultaneously while meeting deadlines
Support additional projects and operational needs as required
Maintain flexibility to work extended hours when business needs require
Required Qualifications
10+ years of progressive technical experience supporting hardware and software systems
3+ years of leadership experience, including team oversight and performance evaluations
Hands-on experience supporting and maintaining
SAP ECC 6.0
Experience working within an
ITSM ticketing system
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
Skills and Competencies

Ability to identify process gaps and implement streamlined solutions
Experience collaborating with external vendors to drive issue resolution
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize competing demands
