Dental Receptionist
Joplin Endodontics
We are seeking a friendly, organized, and motivated Dental Receptionist to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our patients, helping create a welcoming experience while supporting the daily operations of our fast paced and growing dental practice. We are looking for someone with a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn and grow within the office. The ideal candidate is dependable, patient focused, and willing to go the extra mile to support both patients and teammates. Cross training opportunities are available for someone eager to expand their skills and contribute in multiple areas of the practice.
Schedule: Full Time, Monday-Thursday 7:00am-4:30pm
Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly and ensure a welcoming, professional environment
- Schedule and confirm appointments, manage provider calendars
- Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and manage patient communication
- Verify insurance coverage and obtain necessary pre-authorizations
- Process payments, handle billing, and maintain accurate financial records
- Maintain patient records and ensure accurate data entry
- Coordinate patient flow and assist with administrative support as needed
- Ensure compliance with patient confidentiality and HIPAA regulations
- Please note that additional responsibilities may be assigned
Qualifications
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1+ years of dental front office experience
Preferred Skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented
- Experience with dental practice management software
- Proficiency with computers, including Microsoft Office applications
- Knowledge of dental insurance and billing procedures

The salary range for this role is $17-$21 per hour.
