We are growing and therefore looking for a motivated inside sales representative to help develop new sales territories and contacts. This will be a work from home position with a competitive salary, commission, and full benefits offered. SUMMARY The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for growing revenue by cultivating and establishing group benefit broker relationships and small business relationships by turning leads into new sells for Life and Health insurance products.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Call through provided lead lists and qualify new prospects with potential opportunities.
Make over 100 calls per day and record all contact in CRM system.
Research and cultivate new group broker relationships and new small business relationships to continually grow the regions in-force premium block.
Develop a thorough understanding of our products and the benefits each offers.
Articulately communicate the benefits of partnering with BEST Life.
Develop Requests for Proposal (RFPs) and close the sale.
Meet and/or exceed activity goals as they relate to number of new clients, cold calls, RFPs, broker relationships and sold premium.
Gather and provide competitive intelligence to assist in the successful positioning of BEST Life and Health in the marketplace.
Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Associates Degree required. Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
1-2 years of cold-calling sales experience with over 100 calls per day.
Proficient in Microsoft office suite as well as CRM tools.
Experience cultivating, maintaining and growing new business relationships.
Previous work from home sales experience (desired, but not required).
Knowledge of group ancillary benefit market and lead generation activities, sales cycles, and ongoing responsibilities after sale (desired, but not required).
Texas Life and Health license (desired, but not required).
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Ability to work from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm. Monday through Friday. No weekends required.
Must reside in the Dallas-Fort Worth area and be willing to work from home (with no distractions or background noise interference).
Drive and desire to succeed and achieve career advancement.
Outgoing personality with excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to work with new and current brokers and employees.
Proven track record in successful sales development with setting and achieving sales goals.
Strong analytical, negotiation and problem-solving skills.
Proven commitment to exceptional customer service.
BENEFITS
Base salary plus commission. Total first year compensation should be $65,000-$85,000
