Location: Remote(with frequent travel to various client sites) Employment Type: Full-Time Zephyrus Engineering Limited is an industry leader in providing cutting-edge engineering solutions across a range of projects. Our team works closely with clients on-site, and we prioritize the safety and security of our people, property, and projects. We are looking for a dedicated Security Officer to join our team, ensuring the protection of assets and personnel at each project location. Responsibilities
Site Security Monitoring: Ensure a secure environment at each project site by patrolling, monitoring, and managing access points. Access Control: Maintain a log of all personnel entering and exiting the site, verify IDs, and control entry to authorized individuals only. Respond to security concerns, alarms, or disturbances; document and report incidents to management. Asset Protection: Protect company assets, tools, and materials on-site by deterring potential theft, vandalism, or unauthorized access. Emergency Response: Act as the first line of response for any emergency situations, coordinating with local authorities or emergency services as needed. Travel and Logistical Coordination: Travel to various sites with the engineering team and be adaptable to varying schedules. Coordinate travel plans and complete relevant travel expense reports. Support Project Personnel: Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other personnel to ensure seamless operations and site safety. Requirements
Prior Security Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in security services, with a preference for roles in engineering, construction, or industrial environments. Valid Drivers License: Clean driving record and ability to travel as required. Physical Fitness: Capable of standing and patrolling for extended periods, with the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Security Licensure: Possession of any state-required security certifications (Florida Class D or G Security License, if applicable). Clear Communication Skills: Effective in verbal and written communication for incident reporting, coordination with the team, and liaising with external parties. Attention to Detail and Strong Observation Skills: Capable of identifying potential risks and irregularities quickly and accurately. Preferred Qualifications
Experience in Securing Construction or Engineering Sites Basic First Aid Certification Benefits
