Nuclear Vessel Design Engineer, responsible for creating design solutions for reactor structures and components for advanced nuclear reactors in a contract, remote position. Key Responsibilities
Perform detailed design, analysis, and documentation for nuclear vessels and related components Develop design specifications and maintain compliance with applicable codes Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to define design requirements and resolve technical issues
Required Qualifications
B.S. in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline from an accredited university Minimum of six years of design experience for level 10 or ten years for level 11, with relevant M.S. degree credited as two years of experience Experience in design for manufacturability and assembly Familiarity with ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code Section III and/or VIII division 2 Proficiency in CAD software, preferably SolidWorks
