Ongoing/One Off Ongoing Minimum Commitment Once a month Location Virtual Head Up! (head-up.org) is a disability outreach organisation currently looking to recruit disabled student and graduate mentors! Are you a student or recent graduate who self‑IDs as disabled (physical and/or mental health conditions, specific learning difficulties or are neurodivergent) and want to help disabled 14‑18 y o who are often isolated at school? If so, why not consider becoming a mentor with Head Up! We match our mentors with disabled GCSE and A Level students for mentoring covering areas such as UCAS, exams, studying or the broader issues that come with disability like asking for support or self‑advocacy. If you can spare just one hour per month, we offer an enhanced DBS check, safeguarding training and support. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to get in touch at

Head Up! (head-up.org; @headupuk) is recruiting mentors and committee members! We're looking for mentors for disabled young people (aged 14‑18). Do you self‑ID as disabled, or have: A physical/mental health condition Are you neurodivergent? If so, we would love to have you on board! We ask our mentors for: 1 hour per month. We offer mentoring and safeguarding training, and DBS checks (subject to our budget) Head Up!'s Mission: To offer support and encouragement to young people with disabilities, physical & mental health conditions, SpLDs and neurodivergence. Head Up! is a group of university students and graduates who have a variety of disabilities, physical & mental health conditions, learning difficulties and neurodiversity. We want to share our advice and experiences of dealing with these in school, university & in our social lives in the hope that young people feel supported, encouraged and able to keep going - to overcome the extra challenges they may face and to chase big ambitions.
