What you will be doing: The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for contacting current and potential customers by phone to grow prospects and sales. An employee at this level performs work under direct supervision., handles basic issues and problems and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff. Primary Duties *See disclaimer 1 and 2 at the end of this Job Description. Drives product sales by developing, identifying, and securing all relevant direct sales opportunities.
Send quotes, provide pricing and follow-up on status of quotes sent to customers.
Actively solicits product opportunities, referring leads as appropriate.
Provides telephone support to customers.
Engages in other sales-related duties as needed. Other Duties As required and assigned Essential Skills Excellent written and oral communication skills that demonstrate a proven ability to develop relationships with a range of internal and external customers. Excellent planning and organizational skills. Excellent telephone sales personality skills. Basic computer skills using Microsoft office suit. Environment While performing the duties of this job, the employee frequently is required to sit, reach with hands and arms, and talk.
