Project Engineer Glatt Group is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Project Engineer to join our team. This role involves significant travel (up to 60% overnight and 80% including local) across the U.S., Canada, and Puerto Rico to support the startup, troubleshooting, maintenance, and customer support of our industry‑leading process systems.
Responsibilities
Perform on‑site engineering services: FATs, commissioning, training, validation, troubleshooting, and warranty support.
Support installation of electrical/mechanical components and retrofits; provide instructional documents as needed.
Troubleshoot and resolve electrical, mechanical, and control issues.
Act as on‑site liaison between Glatt and the customer, communicating scope changes and project updates.
Document service activities: protocols, checklists, trip reports, drawing markups.
Support rebuilds, preventive maintenance, and safety evaluations.
Provide feedback to the Process Automation team for continuous improvement.
Offer remote technical support to customers.
Collaborate with project managers and internal departments throughout the project lifecycle.
Maintain high service standards and strong interpersonal relationships with customers and global teams.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Engineering or 5+ years of relevant experience.
Experience with Hydraulics, pneumatics, AC/DC systems.
Experience with hand tools, basic welding/metalworking.
Experience with Psychrometrics, VFDs, Allen Bradley PLC ladder logic.
Control system documentation (P&IDs, schematics, panel layouts).
Familiarity with NFPA, NEC, and NEMA standards.
Proficiency with Microsoft Windows, Office, Access, and/or SQL Server.
Valid driver’s license required.
Salary Range $95,000-$125,000
