The Sr. Manager, Alliance Management oversees strategic relationships with key external partners to ensure that partnerships deliver their intended scientific, operational, and commercial value. This role is essential to advancing the strategy of the Clinical Chemistry and Immunoassay business unit. Reporting to the Senior Director of CCIA Portfolio Strategy & Neurodegenerative Disease Business, this position offers an opportunity to drive high‑impact collaborations in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment. Qualified candidates not located near Chaska will be considered and the role may be filled as a remote role. In This Role
Build and manage strong, strategic relationships with current and prospective external partners, including key decision‑makers and influencers.
Maintain a comprehensive understanding of partner alliances, including performance, organizational changes, and contractual obligations.
Identify partnership risks and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to develop and execute mitigation plans.
Partner with the Director of Business Development to draft statements of work and support execution of licensing, supply, and strategic partnership agreements.
Establish and maintain standard work processes to ensure consistent, effective alliance management execution.
Essential Requirements
Advanced degree required: Bachelor’s with 14+ years, Master’s with 12+ years, or Doctoral degree with 9+ years of relevant experience.
Proven experience leading teams and driving new product development within Clinical Chemistry, Immunoassay, or Bio‑Pharma R&D.
Hands‑on expertise in protein biochemistry.
Strong ability to collaborate across cultures and functions, with excellent organizational skills and a disciplined, process‑driven approach.
Travel up to 25 %.
Additional Qualifications (Preferred)
MBA preferred; PMP certification is a plus.
Leadership experience or significant contributions within a cross‑functional collaboration.
Experience motivating internal teams to deliver on partnership commitments.

Annual salary range: $170,000 – $200,000. The role is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay. No amount of pay is considered wages until earned, vested, and determinable.
