This role requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to high-quality care./ppEssential Duties and Responsibilities:/pullistrongMedication Administration:/strong/liulliAccurately prepare, administer, and document medications according to physician orders and company protocols./liliEnsure proper storage, handling, and disposal of medications in compliance with regulations./liliMonitor residents for adverse reactions or side effects and report concerns to the nursing team promptly./li/ullistrongHealth Monitoring:/strong/liulliObserve and report changes in residents health status, behavior, and physical condition./liliMeasure and record vital signs as needed./liliAssist with basic healthcare tasks under the supervision of licensed staff./li/ullistrongResident Engagement:/strong/liulliBuild positive relationships with residents through compassionate care and effective communication./liliEncourage residents participation in wellness programs and activities./li/ullistrongSafety Compliance:/strong/liulliFollow infection control procedures and maintain compliance with healthcare regulations./liliEnsure medication carts, records, and supplies are organized, secure, and well-maintained./liliRespond promptly to emergency situations and assist with emergency care when necessary./li/ul/ulpQualifications:/pullistrongEducation:/strong/liulliHigh school diploma or GED required./liliCompletion of a state-approved Medication Aide training program preferred./li/ullistrongExperience:/strong/liulliMinimum of 1 year of experience in a healthcare, senior living, or long-term care setting preferred./li/ullistrongSkills:/strong/liulliStrong attention to detail and accuracy in medication administration./liliExcellent organizational and time-management skills./liliCompassionate, patient, and attentive to residents needs./liliStrong interpersonal and communication skills./li/ullistrongPhysical Requirements:/strong/liulliAbility to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs./liliFrequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching./liliAbility to assist residents with mobility and physical support as needed./li/ullistrongCertifications Requirements:/strong/liulliActive Medication Aide certification in good standing with the state./liliCPR and First Aid certification preferred./liliMust successfully pass a background check and drug screening./li/ul/ulpIf you are a compassionate and detail-oriented professional with a passion for providing high-quality care and making a positive impact in the lives of seniors, wed love to have you on our team./ppApply today to make a difference at The Landings of Cabarrus!/p/div
