The Workers Compensation Manager will develop and manage CNH’s workers compensation and loss control program for the North America Region. This position is part of the North America treasury team and will partner with various internal and external functions to implement process improvements and initiatives to improve Workers’ Compensation claim management with a focus on programs to support the prevention of workplace injury and illness.
This position can be located in our office in Waterford, WI OR Oak Brook, IL and is eligible for our hybrid work environment working three (3) days onsite and two (2) days remote/home office.
- Develops and implements WC claims management strategy in coordination with Transitional Duty Program for operations in multi-states, including union and non-union sites
- Supports Critical Claim Decision Points (Reserving, Settlements, Defense Plans, etc.)
- Manages TPA Programs, including contract terms & costs, servicing specifications and outcome/metrics
- Monitors external legal resources (WC defense counsel) and measures effectiveness, costs, rates and results
- Apprises internal Legal Department of higher-value reserves and settlements and collaborates on appropriate strategy
- Stay current with Workers’ Compensation statutes in all jurisdictions CNH operates
- Chairs Regional WC Committee to assure cross-functional communication and training
- Develops Data Management and Reporting Strategy to optimize use of insurance and risk data
- Collaborates with Health and Safety to manage plant medical budget and programs
- Supports WCM regional and plant level health and safety initiatives
- Work with treasury team to put in place and manage insurance programs specific to the region
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5+ years of relevant experience
- Advanced knowledge in a technical field and broad knowledge of several related disciplines within a function
- Strong attention to detail and organization skills
- Accountability for meeting own targets
- Intermediate to Advanced level of knowledge of Microsoft Office Excel and Word

The annual salary for this role is USD $105,750.00 - $155,100.00 plus any applicable bonus (Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.)
