Minasolve is delivering answers and solutions to the consumer needs by developing high quality ingredients with established performance.Quality, flexibility and innovation are our watchwords.To support our Sales team, we are recruiting for Minasolve Americas Inc a:The Area Sales Manager is responsible for actively growing revenue, developing and managing accounts within the scope of personal care products.Reporting to the Sales and Marketing Director, your main role is to organize the sales, promotion and activities in your area so that business plans can be fulfilled while maximizing our customer satisfaction. You will:Develop the commercial presence and promotion of Minasolve's portfolio on North American Market.Manage and develop a portfolio of direct customers & distributors, mainly composed of buyers, experts in formulation, microbiology and marketing.Participate in the growth of Minasolve, by developing a commercial strategy with our business partners. Responsible for upholding our company values and demonstrate leadership with our customers.Ensure the prospection and sale of bio-based ingredients (green glycols, natural alternative to preservatives, active ingredients, floral waters)You have a culture and knowledge of the cosmetics industry in North America and identification of new business opportunities.You understand technical & marketing aspect of the products.You are mobile, like to travel and meet with your customers.You are able to organize and animate distributor seminars & webinars.You have knowledge of regulatory developments relating to the cosmetics industry.You carry out regular and detailed reporting on a regular basis to your management team.You pro-actively identify new potential clients and broaden customer base.You attend and participate in cosmetic trade shows to meet customers and prospective clients while promoting Minasolve.Specific professional skills include:Ability to confidently work in close cooperation with research, process development and production, with transparency so as to achieve the objectives set.Ability to accurately forecast annual, quarterly and monthly project and revenue streams.Ability to plan, prioritize and anticipate actions taking into account the means, resources, objectives and timing to achieve them with little supervision.Ability to project co-operative teamwork in order to realize short- and long-term operational plans to move the company's business unit strategy forward.ProfileThis position is 100% remote.Bachelor's degree (masters preferred) with a scientific background in chemistry, biochemistry, or biology.The Area Sales Manager will have 3-5+ years progressive experience, including demonstrated success in sales, marketing and key account management in North American cosmetic industry (ingredients).The ideal candidate is customer and business oriented and experienced in handling large accounts within the cosmetic industry.The Area Sales Manager will have relevant professional knowledge in biology and organic chemistry; autonomous, excellent negotiation skills, and an entrepreneurial spirit.The successful candidate will have professional experience working for large companies with complex organizational structure. Travel nationally and internationally, minimum 50%, based in USA, preferably in the NJ area. Experience in the discovery and assessment of new business opportunities is required.
