Self Storage Management Software Company -- USA Location: Jordan Remote Part-Time: 15-20 hours/week Position Overview:
This opportunities is with a client that is a Self Storage company serving densely populated urban areas in the United States. To support the unique operational needs, the company has developed a custom facility management platform built on Django 3.0.7. As the company scales, they are looking for a flexible, part-time Django Developer to help maintain and evolve the platform. Key Responsibilities:
Maintain and optimize a Django-based backend and admin panel Manage integrations with third-party services including Stripe, Klaviyo, Plaid, Hubspot, and Calendly Handle EC2/RDS deployments using Docker on AWS Upgrade our Django version and dependencies, clean up legacy code Improve system automated testing and authentication mechanisms Develop new backend features to support operational and customer-facing tools Enhance reporting and data analytics capabilities Occasionally collaborate on front-end work (React / Next.js, if you're comfortable) Requirements:
5+ years professional programming experience 3+ years experience with Django and REST APIs (Django 3.x experience ideal) Experience with Docker, AWS EC2/RDS, and production-grade deployment pipelines Familiarity with third-party API integrations (Stripe, Hubspot, etc.) Strong understanding of relational databases and query optimization (PostgreSQL preferred) Experience with automated testing in Django Comfortable working independently and managing time across multiple priorities Bonus: Experience with React and Next.js What We Offer:
