The Client is a brand storyteller, designer, and art director with 10+ years of experience, creating beautiful websites that showcase her clients.
We are looking for an Online Business Manager (OBM) to design systems and strategy for getting work done, task delegation, and operational leadership across the entire business or project. The OBM will guide a team that may include VAs, designers, developers, copywriters, and other experts, collaborating closely with the client on strategy and priorities.
An Online Business Manager is responsible for
Project Management – laying out plans and managing projects to completion, including launches and program management.
Operations Management – automating systems and creating processes for all day‑to‑day activities to streamline and simplify business operations.
People Management – outsourcing, managing, and leading the team to meet business goals.
Metrics Management – tracking key business stats to inform ongoing growth decisions.
Product Managing
Custom Projects Pipelines
Soul Themes Website Pipelines
Create and implement systems, processes, and automation.
Help put together the systems that make the entire team comfortable.
Oversee and provide solutions when projects aren’t working.
Manage client expectations.

Detail orientation without feeling overwhelmed
Experience working with a creative agency on branding and website projects
Proficiency with ClickUp, Zoom, and Slack
Deep understanding of website project workflow (reviews, edits, creative process)
Client wants
Be aware of client needs and advocate or create solutions that align with the overall vision and goals.
Serve as the go‑to resource for contractors, reducing bottlenecks.
Understand the business as deeply as the client does.
Alleviate the client’s workload by overseeing and providing solutions.
Offer actionable options when processes are suboptimal.
Communicate realistic expectations and avoid overpromising.
Ensure client expectations and experiences are positive.
Design systems that make the entire team comfortable and efficient.
System Requirements
Minimum 15 Mbps main internet and 10 Mbps backup.
Desktop or laptop with i5 processor, at least 4 GB RAM, and webcam.
Noise‑canceling USB headset.
Quiet, dedicated home office.
Smartphone.
