Job Overview Research Training Manager in SCRI’s Quality, Safety & Systems Compliance team responsible for managing business unit research operations training. Provides ongoing support to clinical trial research staff through continuing education and training as needed.
Remote Work This is a remote position based in the US; relocation assistance and visa sponsorship are not available.
Responsibilities
Training Administration:
Develop, modify, and maintain written training curricula and materials (virtual and in-person), visual aids, manuals, guides, forms, videos, and presentations.
Ensure all training materials are user‑friendly, clear, concise, accessible, and visually appealing.
Establish onboarding plans with checklists and associated documents that are organized, accessible, and current.
Other duties as assigned.
Training Delivery:
Determine implementation plans, schedules, resource needs, and logistics for delivery of training initiatives.
Manage external resources to maximize cost‑effectiveness and quality.
Facilitate training and engage facilitators as needed.
Review participant training evaluations and learning outcomes to ensure training is effective; revise based on feedback.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree required; Master’s Degree preferred.
7+ years’ corporate training experience in a healthcare, clinical research, pharmaceutical, or biotech environment.
Exceptional technology proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Documented training, knowledge, and application of FDA regulations, GCP, and ICH guidelines in clinical trials.
Experience with Articulate or similar software for educational module creation.
Attention to detail, strong execution, ability to meet aggressive timelines, and strong interpersonal skills.
Ability to work within established timelines in a fast‑paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
RN or certification in specialty area.
ACRP certification (ACRP Certified Professional or Certified Clinical Research Coordinator).
Certified Professional in Talent Development (CPTD).
Certified Instructional Designer.
