DB Plan Administrator
to manage and ensure compliance for our clients' defined benefit retirement plans. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in plan administration, knowledge of regulations, and excellent organizational skills.
Responsibilities
Oversee daily operations of defined benefit pension plans.
Process pension payments, contributions, and adjustments accurately and on time.
Conduct annual compliance testing and actuarial valuation coordination.
Prepare and file required regulatory forms, including IRS Form 5500, and ensure ERISA/IRS compliance.
Maintain accurate records of participant data and plan information.
Communicate with participants to answer inquiries and assist with retirement planning.
Stay updated on regulatory changes and trends to advise clients and ensure plan compliance.
Requirements
Pension Plan Administrator certification (e.g., QPA, ASPA) or similar (preferred).
2+ years’ experience in defined benefit plan administration.
Strong knowledge of ERISA, IRS, and DOL regulations.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
