What You Will Do
Ensure that projects are following EH&S standards.
Lead, facilitate, and actively participate in project meetings.
Review and understand scope of work and all aspects of construction for each specific project.
Be an active participant in constructability reviews of upcoming projects.
Work with the director of construction management, project managers, technical COEs, procurement and mill teams to determine the appropriate construction strategy.
Coordinate construction activities with contractors.
Validate execution plans and schedules with contractors.
Review cost and schedule budgets, challenge when appropriate.
Identify gaps in construction process and develop mitigation plans.
Assist teams with checkout and start‑up of the projects.
Submit weekly reports to the director of construction management detailing activities.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
5 years of construction management experience in a heavy manufacturing environment.
Bachelor’s degree in construction management OR 10 years of construction management experience.
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
Willing to work various shifts and weekends.
Willing to work in various weather conditions.
Willing to travel 80% of the time.
What Will Put You Ahead
Degree in Engineering or Building Science.
Project checkout and commissioning experience.
Compensation For this role, we anticipate paying $100k - $150k per year. Variable pay is eligible as a monetary bonus or other form.
