e are seeking a Senior Design Engineer with strong mechanical design and analysis experience, preferably in aerospace or high-complexity engineering environments. The role involves CAD design, simulation, prototype validation, and cross-functional collaboration with manufacturing and supply chain teams.
Required Skills
Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering or related field
8+ years of mechanical engineering experience
Strong CAD skills (SolidWorks, Inventor, or Siemens NX)
Experience with FEA/CFD tools (ANSYS or equivalent)
Experience in design analysis of aerospace/mechanical components
Strong knowledge of GD&T (ASME Y14.5) and engineering calculations
Experience with DFM and manufacturing collaboration
Strong communication and technical documentation skills
Must be US Citizen or Green Card holder
Responsibilities
Develop mechanical designs, drawings, and layouts using CAD tools
Perform structural, thermal, and performance analysis using FEA/CFD
Conduct tolerance analysis and engineering calculations
Build and validate prototypes for functionality and reliability
Collaborate with manufacturing teams for DFM and cost optimization
Create and maintain BOMs and engineering documentation in PLM systems
Support certification and compliance (FAA/OEM standards)
Participate in design reviews and provide technical inputs
Support continuous improvement of engineering processes
