Do you have experience as an underwriter for mortgages, car leases, personal loans or other financial products? Do you want to make a move into a rapidly growing financial sector that will enable you to develop new expertise? Our company is seeking highly motivated individuals to join our Underwriting team. Underwriters at Smart Step Funding are responsible for applying our proprietary scoring tools and gathering a range of public and private data to evaluate the risk of small business financing deals. Deals range in size from $10,000 to $300,000 and span the entire U.S. Our internal training program provides in-depth knowledge to quickly translate your past experience into our sector. Required Skills and Qualifications
Familiarity with reading personal and commercial credit reports. Detail oriented and willing to take responsibility for completing critical tasks Strong communication skills (verbal and written) Ability to work independently under time pressure Education and Experience
Minimum of 1 year prior work experience underwriting financial products/services. Multi-lingual candidates are a plus. About Smart Step Funding
