Shipping company is currently hiring a remote Administrative Assistant for their Logistics Department. The position is full time Monday through Friday with the ability to work from home. The company provides a generous benefits package after 90 days that include 100% employer medical. Group dental, vision and a matching 401k are also provided. Additional benefits include paid time off, paid training, paid holidays, and a prepaid life insurance plan. The ideal applicant will have previous administrative support experience and be passionate about their work. Individuals should possess intermediate to advanced computer skills and be comfortable working on Excel, Word as well as some PowerPoint. Individuals who have experience working for a shipping/logistics company are also strongly encouraged to apply (not required). The Administrative Assistant will report to the department manager. Run daily and weekly reporting through Excel. Draft internal department memos, coordinate events or meetings with internal departments as well as assist on any virtual presentations. You must be organized, efficient and very comfortable working on the computer. Industry experience is not required as training is offered. You must be professional, outgoing and possess strong communications skills. Requirements
1+ year of professional administrative support Longevity with past employers Experience with Microsoft Office Excel and Word Type 35 wpm +
