️ Computer Operator – Intermediate (Contract) Location: 100% Remote ( Must
be a current South Carolina Resident) Duration: 12 Months (Renewable) ✨ About the Role Are you a tech-savvy problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment? We are looking for an energetic and self-motivated Computer Operator to join a high-performing team! In this role, you won’t just be pushing buttons; you will be a key collaborator working to turn complex data into clear insights. If you enjoy a mix of autonomy and teamwork, and love the feeling of checking items off your to-do list while automating processes for the future, we want to hear from you!
What You Will Do
Data Wizardry:
Gather infrastructure data and work magic within Excel to transpose and prepare critical billing spreadsheets.
Dashboard Defender:
Manage and maintain interactive dashboards to keep leadership informed.
Support Hero:
Act as a Tier 1 support specialist, assisting users with the BMC Footprints ticketing system and serving as the go-to backup for the system administrator.
Process Pro:
Help document workflows and collaborate with technical writers to ensure our steps are verified and crystal clear.
Innovator:
Look for ways to automate manual tasks to make the workday smoother for everyone.
✅ Minimum Requirements
Residency:
You
must
currently reside in the state of South Carolina (No relocation or nationwide candidates allowed).
Education:
A Bachelor’s Degree is required.
Technical Skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
is essential (specifically updating spreadsheets and transposing data).
Experience with
Microsoft Power BI .
Experience with
BMC Footprints Ticketing System
(or similar IT service management tools).
Soft Skills:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills are non-negotiable, along with the ability to collaborate effectively in a remote team setting.
Preferred Qualifications (Bonus Points!)
Previous exposure to software upgrades or Change and Release Management procedures.
Experience in Healthcare IT, Insurance IT, or social services eligibility systems is a plus.
Familiarity with infrastructure monitoring tools (such as Solarwinds).
