Job Title Test Center Intern

Duration 8 Weeks starting June 15th
Pay Rate $16.00 Per Hour
Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and security-minded Test Center Intern to support the secure and efficient operation of our testing facilities. This role is ideal for a student planning to obtain a Computer Science or related technical degree and interested in the intersection of physical security, operational controls, and technology-driven risk management.
The intern will assist with maintaining testing integrity, enforcing security protocols, and supporting day-to-day test center operations while gaining hands‑on experience in real-world security practices.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in enforcing test center security policies and procedures to ensure exam integrity
Assist in developing the means to better measure current performance regarding compliance with security standards
Map end‑to‑end candidate journey through a test center to document standards and identify potential improvements
Review escalation procedures regarding security incidents, irregularities, or policy violations
Participate in audits, inspections, and process improvements related to operational security
Gain exposure to cybersecurity concepts as they relate to physical systems, access control, and data protection
Required Qualifications
Currently enrolled in or planning to pursue a Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related degree
Strong interest in security, risk management, and operational integrity
High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail
Ability to follow strict procedures and maintain confidentiality
Strong observational and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with basic computer hardware, operating systems, or troubleshooting
Experience in customer service, operations, or security-related roles
Coursework or interest in Operations, systems administration, computer networking or cybersecurity
Ability to remain calm and decisive in high-integrity or high-accountability environments
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
Ability to stand or walk for extended periods
Ability to monitor multiple rooms or systems simultaneouslyReal-world exposure to security operations and controlled environments
Foundational experience relevant to careers in cybersecurity, IT operations, systems engineering, or risk management
Ability to travel domestically, perhaps on short notice
