Transfer data from paper formats into computer files or database systems using keyboards, data recorders or optical scanners Type in data provided directly from customers Verify data by comparing it to source documents Retrieve data from the database or electronic files as requested Perform regular backups to ensure data preservation Sort and organize paperwork after entering data to ensure it is not lost NECESSARY SKILLS
Reasoning - Ability to define and analyze a problem, gather necessary information, and draw valid conclusions for problem resolution. Ability to make effective decisions. Technical - Must be detail-oriented with the ability to see the bigger picture Must be result-driven, organized, and welcoming of constructive criticism. Ability to work in multi-functional roles. TECHNOLOGICAL
Good PC proficiency, data analysis skills, and knowledge of Excel, word. Ability to work well with customers, in groups, and under own initiative. Ability to work as part of a team. EDUCATION
High school or equivalent (Required) OTHER REQUIREMENT
Must be authorized to work in USA LANGUAGE
Ability to read, write, and speak fluently in English. Ability to communicate effectively with customers and within the organization via all media, both verbal and written.
