À propos

At 8 Cents in a Jar, we believe literacy is the gateway to economic mobility. Reading builds understanding. Math builds confidence. Money builds choice. As a Reading & Math Tutor, you will work directly with students in grades 3rd–8th to strengthen core academic skills through virtual small-group and individual tutoring sessions. Your instruction will help students improve reading comprehension, strengthen foundational math skills, and build the confidence needed to succeed academically and financially.
While this role focuses primarily on reading and math tutoring, instructors will also help students understand how these skills connect to real-life financial concepts and decision-making. Tutoring sessions will primarily take place virtually, with occasional in-person support during program activities or student engagement events within Greater Orlando.
