About Our Client Our client is a leading international player in electrical and digital infrastructure solutions, offering a broad portfolio ranging from building installations to advanced technologies for industrial and mobility applications. As the market for
EV charging solutions
is booming, they are now strengthening their commercial structure by creating a new national Business Development role.
Job Description As
Business Developer , your main responsibilities will be to:
Proactively hunt for new business opportunities.
Conduct market research, identify prospects and convert them into qualified opportunities.
Build a strategic vision of the market: trends, competitors, new segments, regional specifics.
Promote the company's EV charging solutions.
Develop relationships with key B2B stakeholders.
Manage the entire sales cycle and navigate complex tender procedures.
Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth handover of won projects.
Represent the company at events, fairs and customer meetings throughout Belgium.
The Successful Applicant The successful candidate will have the following qualities:
A true hunter mentality with proven experience in Business Development.
Fluent in Dutch, French, English.
Experience in technical B2B sales and a strong appetite to learn about the EV market.
Comfortable working with tenders and long, structured selection processes.
A strategic mindset: able to analyse the market and build an action plan.
Strong communication and influencing skills with different stakeholders.
Autonomous, proactive and highly organized.
