Job Title: District Mattress Trainer
Location: Remote
Preferred Based: Florida, Georgia, Alabama or Tennessee
Job Summary The District Mattress Trainer will be responsible for the execution and implementation of mattress department sales, merchandising, and training strategies. The position is REMOTE and will cover a variety of areas within the operational geography of Rooms to Go. This position will report to a Regional Mattress Trainer. Travel will be up to 50% of time as the business requires and must be able to facilitate some weekend meetings.

Responsibilities
Executing training initiatives from the Mattress Team
Implementing sales strategies
Checking for store execution of floor plans, point‑of‑purchase materials, and floor placements
Training new hires in mattress sales process
Facilitating store visits as needed
Accountable for specific Key Performance Indicators determined by leadership team
Presenting to classroom and large group formats
Perform other duties as required
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or similar years of experience.
At least 2+ years of experience within the mattress industry.
Sales and/or management experience with a focus on sales training, or mattress salesperson with leadership skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as solid presentation skills are required.
This person must have the ability to inspire and influence others.
They should be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
The ability for 50% travel, work independently and some weekends is required.
