The Territory Sales Representative will build relationships with optical and sunglass retailers, prospect and develop new accounts, foster long‑term customer relationships, and increase sales revenue. This position requires proven territory management skills, reliable transportation, extensive travel by car, and the ability to carry and lift sample bags weighing up to 50 lb. The territory covers Houston, TX and includes brands such as Tom Ford, Max Mara, Pucci, MCM, Rag&Bone, and Tom Ford Icon. Key Responsibilities
Identify and close opportunities in a highly competitive market with a short sales cycle. Build strong relationships with optical and sunglass retailers. Grow and service existing accounts against established vendors. Prospect and develop new accounts, building long‑term customer relationships. Meet sales quotas and revenue targets. Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Proven ability to meet and exceed specified sales goals. Strong relationship building and business development skills. Skilled in time, territory, and call‑cycle management. Excellent communication and presentation skills, verbal and written. Excellent customer service and listening skills. High energy, stamina, and resourcefulness, able to be on the road five days a week. Driven to accomplish goals and objectives. Competitive desire to grow the assigned Marcolin product lines. Clear, common‑sense thinking with critical reasoning skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, e‑mail). Collaborative relationships with management and corporate colleagues. Qualifications of the Outside Sales Consultant
Minimum 2–3 years of proven success as an Outside / Territory Sales professional. Experience in the optical industry is a plus. High School Diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel particularly). Ability to carry and lift multiple sample bags, weighing up to 50 lb. Proven ability to meet and exceed specified sales goals.
