Position Overview We are seeking a skilled and self-motivated Remote Mobile Service Technician to deliver high-quality vehicle maintenance and repair services directly to customers at their homes, workplaces, or designated locations. This role combines technical expertise with customer‑facing service, representing Ford’s commitment to convenience, innovation, and excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Perform routine maintenance and light repair services on Ford and competitive make vehicles (e.g., oil changes, tire rotations, battery replacements, recalls, and software updates) at customer locations
Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using mobile diagnostic tools
Communicate clearly with customers about vehicle condition, recommended services, and timelines
Manage daily schedule, travel routes, and service appointments efficiently
Maintain and organize a fully equipped mobile service vehicle
Accurately document services performed, parts used, and customer interactions via digital systems
Follow all safety protocols and company standards
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent (ASE certification preferred)
2+ years of automotive technician experience (Ford experience a plus)
Strong diagnostic and problem‑solving skills
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Comfortable using tablets, mobile apps, and diagnostic software
Strong customer service and communication skills
Preferred Skills
Experience with mobile or field service operations
Familiarity with Ford systems, tools, and service procedures
EV (Electric Vehicle) maintenance knowledge is a plus
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
Frequent standing, bending, and kneeling
