Position Summary:
We are looking for a motivated and results-oriented Sales Representative to become a part of our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong passion for sales and customer service, demonstrating the ability to excel in a fast-paced environment. This role will involve some on-site responsibilities in our Woodridge Branch and other responsibilities in the Chicagoland area.
Essential Functions and Job Responsibilities:
Oversee sales opportunities across Illinois. Cultivate a comprehensive understanding of RoadSafe products. Enhance and maintain customer relationships, with travel as a necessary component. Drive revenue and profitability through proactive sales efforts and exceptional customer service, including outreach to potential new clients. Collaborate with the sales team to meet sales objectives and promote revenue growth. Identify new product opportunities and concepts, working closely with the Sales Team and Operations to provide detailed information for customized products. Conduct product demonstrations as needed to secure new business and address customer inquiries or concerns. Utilize software to generate customer quotes and sales orders for operational purposes. Assist with accounts receivable tasks. Supply Marketing with relevant materials and updates for promotional posts and social media.
Education/Experience:
Bachelor's degree is preferred. Minimum of 2 years of relevant outside sales experience is preferred. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential. Must demonstrate organization, self-motivation, and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, and Excel, is necessary. Ability to learn and adapt to changes in safety and industry standards. High attention to detail and effective time management skills are crucial. Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time is required. Key Metrics for Evaluation:
