At Agile Robots SE, we are developing intelligent robotic systems and automation solutions. The complexity of such systems and the tasks they must solve autonomously are increasing rapidly. Therefore, professional frameworks and tools for programming robots efficiently are required.
At our innovative company, we build powerful software frameworks to orchestrate complex robotic systems and autonomously solve challenging tasks. These frameworks enable system configuration, the development of reusable skills, the parameterization of processes, and the reliable execution of tasks.
These software solutions are sold to various international customers to enable them to control their robotic workcells. Seamless integration and scalable deployment are at the core of our mission.
We are currently looking for a candidate with a strong background in Robotics, Computer Science, or AI to join our team. You will become part of a fast-paced, international environment, contributing to both prototype development and the delivery of production-ready solutions.
Your Responsibilities
  • Set up and integrate complex robotics systems for mobile manipulation tasks
  • Design and implement customer-specific features using a rich set of extension points within our workcell automation framework. These features include, but are not limited to:
    • Computer vision algorithms are often developed in close collaboration with Computer Vision and AI Engineers
    • Hardware drivers for various types of new robots, actuators, and sensors
    • New UI screens
  • Travel to international customer sites to gather requirements, implement features, and deploy our software products (willingness to travel up to 40% of working time)

  • Master's degree in Robotics, Computer Science, AI, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related fields
  • Minimum of four years of work experience
  • Intermediate-level programming skills in C++
  • Experience in robotics(e.g., robotarms,cameras,AGVs,grippers) and embedded platforms
  • Practical experience in robot programming
  • Knowledge of system design and software architecture
  • Basic experience in Linux
  • Fluency in English

Beneficial Skills
  • Experience in computer vision incl. popular libraries (e.g., OpenCV, PCL)
  • Knowledge of industrial communication protocols (e.g., Modbus, RS-485, EtherCAT, CAN, OPC UA, PROFIBUS)
  • Basic programming experience in JavaScript and UI frameworks(e.g., VueJS, React or Angular)
  • Experience with deep learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch)
  • Programming experience with Python
  • Practical experience with CAD Software
  • Knowledge of functional safety norms
