Design and execute software projects that are crucial to Abnormal’s success, in collaboration with a team of engineers, through conception, design, implementation, launch, and operation Provide guidance and mentorship for junior members of the team Collaborate with Technical Program Managers, Product Managers, and GTM teams to implement, verify, and iterate on issues and requests from our customers Raise the standard of excellence in engineering by actively sharing knowledge within the team and engaging in professional development activities Hit the ground running by contributing to the team's work within the first two weeks Requirements:
BS degree in Computer Science, Applied Sciences, Information Systems, or other related engineering field 3+ years of industry experience designing & building fullstack software applications Expert in Python and/or Go skills Intermediate React, Redux, JS/Typescript Experience building features & components from scratch and operating them, balancing feature development work with operational tasks Open to following pre-established guidelines, coding practices, and conventions Experience working with distributed teams, proficient in asynchronous and written communication You’re growth-driven & looking to increase impact & responsibility over time You’re able to leverage AI Developer tools such as Copilot, Claude, or Cursor in your daily workflow. Actual compensation will be determined based on several non-discriminatory factors including skills, experience, qualifications, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for bonus or incentive compensation, equity, and a comprehensive benefits package.
