Our Chief Mate , under direct supervision of the Captain, operates Transport Canada inspected passenger vessels in Georgian Bay in a manner that ensures the safety and security of the crew and passengers, enjoyment of the passengers, and respect for the environment. A flexible schedule is a must. Schedule includes evenings, weekends and holidays.
Bruce Anchor Cruises are seeking Chief Mates to join our team. This is a customer focused position with a strong emphasis on operations safety. We are looking for friendly individuals who take pride in their appearance, demonstrate strong team player abilities and want to run a safe vessel operation. Bruce Anchor Cruises operates 7 days a week from May through to October.
*Qualifications and Skills*
* Chief Mate 60 GT Domestic Certificate
* Valid Transport Canada Approved Marine Medical
* Valid Marine Advanced First Aid
* ROC-MC
* STCW Training
Wages to be discussed upon hiring.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Seasonal
Pay: Up to $36.00 per hour
Experience:
* jet boat operating: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
* 60 GT Masters Licence (required)
