Sales Support Associate

The Sales Support Associate plays a key role in supporting Sales and Marketing initiatives by providing administrative, operational, and analytical support. This position helps drive sales growth, improve customer experience, and ensure sales and marketing teams have accurate data, samples, and tools needed to succeed. Key Responsibilities: Manage inbound customer inquiries and enter accurate data into CRM and ERP systems Gather and document the required details to support accurate and timely customer quotes Oversee the sample distribution process, including inventory, fulfillment, and coordination Conduct market research projects such as competitor analysis, industry trends, and customer profiling Support marketing campaigns through CRM data entry, automated lead tools, and performance reporting Assist with planning, executing, and attending trade shows, industry events, and customer visits Coordinate ordering, shipping, and handling of samples, promotional materials, and booth supplies Support additional sales and marketing projects as assigned Skills & Competencies: Strong communication (written and verbal) Excellent organization and time management Collaborative mindset with strong interpersonal skills Customer-focused approach Adaptability and willingness to learn Analytical and problem-solving skills Qualifications: High school diploma or GED required Some college coursework in a relevant field preferred Experience supporting sales, service, or marketing in an administrative role Foodservice industry experience is a plus, but not required Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Familiarity with CRM and ERP systems (Salesforce preferred) Working Conditions: General office environment Light physical demands (up to 15 lbs.) Up to 10% travel within the U.S. for events or customer visit
