Fire Systems Technology has been in business for over 22 years and provides fire protection services covering Arkansas, Southern Missouri, Southern Kansas, and Eastern Oklahoma. The company offers exceptional fire sprinkler installation, repairs, renovations, inspections, and maintenance of fire sprinkler systems for over 20 years./ppThis position reports to the General Manager. The Sales Representative will be responsible for selling fire protection products and services. The Sales Representative will develop new customers through an organized system of cold calls, networking, personal visits, and other sales strategies. The Sales Representative will work to maintain and grow accounts with existing customers. The Sales Representative will also be responsible for writing sales reports and tracking sales through the Companys information systems. The Sales Representative is expected to achieve any sales goals established by the General Manager./ppResponsibilities:/pulliMeet all assigned sales quotas in a given period/liliManage their time in order to complete the maximum amount of sales calls and lead generation in a given period/liliFollow up on all leads generated through Inside Sales Representatives/liliParticipate in networking events and other community functions to maximize lead generation/liliPerform any other tasks assigned by the Director of Sales/li/ulpRequirements:/pulliFire protection or fire alarm sales experience preferred./liliCommercial sales experience and a history of meeting and exceeding sales quotas/liliThe ability to design and implement a systematic approach to the selling process, including writing bid proposals/liliA knowledge of our products, services, and industry codes or an ability to quickly learn and understand them/liliAn organizational capacity to handle a high volume of accounts/liliCompetency with the Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to quickly learn the Companys information systems applications/liliStrong written and verbal communication skills/liliThe ability to perform physical activities outlined in the accompanying physical requirements checklist/liliStrong work ethic and professional appearance/liliThe ability to fit in with our culture of teamwork/liliAbility to adhere to, implement, and always follow safety guidelines and procedures./li/ulpIn addition to the above, the most desirable candidate will have:/pulliAt least 2 years of higher education experience or comparable industry experience/liliExperience with sales force automation technologies/liliExperience in design or project management/liliExperience with project budgeting/li/ulpSuccessful completion of a drug test and pre-employment background screening is required.
