PTA - Physical Therapist Assistant

This is a Day 5x8-Hour (08:00 - 16:00) position.

This is a 13-week contract position.

We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) with experience in hospital-based, acute care settings to join our rehabilitation services team. The successful candidate will assist in providing high-quality care to adult patients with various conditions.

Responsibilities:

• Assist Physical Therapists in evaluating patients' conditions and implementing treatment plans.
• Provide hands-on therapy interventions for patients recovering from injuries, surgeries, and medical conditions.
• Document patient progress and treatment outcomes using the facility's charting system.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to optimize patient care and recovery.
• Educate patients and their families on therapeutic techniques and exercises to promote independence and recovery.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Active PTA license.
• BLS certification required.
• Graduate of an accredited PTA program.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in hospital-based, acute care settings.
